LVVWD C-1338 Miscellaneous Main Extensions and Water Service Installations Phase VIII

The duration of the contract was one year. The project was located at various sites that where determined by the LVVWD. The intent of the project was to help current customers on wells bring district facilities to there property and disconnect from the well and connect to the districts water system. The work consisted of the installation of 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch diameter pipe. The total pipe installed was 8,000 lf.

The work also consisted of the installation of 80 services, 22 fire hydrants, 8 wet taps of existing mains, and 40,000 sf of asphalt replacement and 2000 lf of asbestos pipe abatement. Under this contract acme underground also assisted the Las Vegas Valley Water District relocate a 8 inch water main along US-93 as part of the N-DOT Hoover Dam Roadway Expansion.

Acme was able to met the aggressive schedule of fisher sand and gravel the contractor working for N-DOT on the project.

Acme provided the right equipment and manpower to complete this additional project on time, safely and under budget working double shifts and utilizing our network of quality sub-contractors.
