LVVWD C-1355 Polyethylene Service Replacement - Laughlin, Phase IV, Heritage

This project was done for the Las Vegas Valley Water District. The project was done under contract C-1355 Polyethylene Service Replacement - Laughlin, Phase IV, Heritage.

The duration of the project was 210 calendar days. The project was located in Laughlin, Nevada. The project consisted of the replacement of 86 polyethylene service assemblies with polyethylene coated copper water tube. The work included, the installation of new corporation stops, service saddles, angle meter stops and sacrificial anodes. This project had very tight work areas of less then 30’ and remote access.

The project had to be planned and coordinated to provide residents access to there homes 24/7. With careful planning the project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.

The homeowner association sent acme underground and the LVVWD a letter of appreciation for the timely manner in which the job was done in, the clean work areas left after each day and the well organized project we completed.
