LVVWD C-1353 Miscellaneous Main Extensions and Water Service Installations Phase IV

The duration of the contract was one year. The project was located at various sites that where determined by the LVVWD. The intent of the project was to help current customers on wells bring district facilities to there property and disconnect from the well and connect to the districts water system. The work consisted of the installation of 6 inch, 8 inch,10 inch and 12 inch diameter pipe. The total pipe installed was 12,000 lf.

The work also consisted of the installation of 180 services, 32 fire hydrants, 8 wet taps of existing mains, and 120,000 sf of asphalt replacement.

Acme Underground completed the project on time and under budget. As a result, the district extended the contract an extra year rather then put the project out for re-bid. The contract was ended at the end of a two-year period.
