Copper Mountain Phase III Pipeline

This project was done for Sempra US Gas and Power. The project was Copper Mountain Solar 3, a 250 mega watt solar power plant. The project had a very tight schedule to complete several miles of 12 inch water pipe along with a PRV station. Acme Underground was hired because we where the most completive company and the company that could meet the schedule demands of the project.

The project was located in Eldorado valley within a BLM land lease agreement. The pipeline had to be constructed within a 30’ right-a-way with deeps ranging from 7.5’ to 12’ deep.

In addition, very stringent BLM guidelines had to be followed with respect to existing wildlife and desert tortoise. Acme underground had zero safety issues and zero issues with any wildlife on this project. With careful planning and coordination, Acme Underground completed the project ahead of schedule and within budget.
